AN AUTHENTIC DAME-JEANNE FOR A PRECIOUS VINTAGE
To celebrate its 300-year history, Maison Martell has assembled a Collection of exceptional eaux-de-vie. Three vintages have been selected by cellar master Christophe Valtaud to be bottled in authentic and prestigious Dames-Jeannes bottles. This 300th anniversary gave rise to the enamelled medallions project.
A unique enamelled medallion
From the cutting of the sheet metal to the installation of the chain, via the elaboration of the enamels and the silk-screen application, each medallion has been handcrafted with great precision. Slightly curved, they delicately follow the shape of the Dame-Jeanne. This meticulous workmanship gives life to necklaces stamped with the names of the Millésimes, adorning each of the bottles.
METICULOUS CRAFTSMANSHIP FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL PROJECT
At the heart of artisanal production
Each plaque is the fruit of precision work. The enamellers apply the enamels through micro-perforated layers, revealing the inscriptions in a deep blue color. Their fine, precise gestures control every detail.
The final firing inks the enamels perfectly onto the sheet metal. The little hands then suspend each plate from a copper-plated chain link to create an authentic necklace.
